Self-cleaning glass is to spray a layer of self-cleaning material on the glass surface to make the glass surface super hydrophobic or super hydrophilic. This makes it difficult for water droplets and dirt to adhere to the glass surface. On rainy days, use rainwater to wash away the dirt on the glass surface. This achieves a self-cleaning effect.
The self-cleaning coating used in our self-cleaning glass products is a titanium dioxide photocatalyst. Titanium dioxide is a photocatalyst that produces good photocatalytic properties under the action of ultraviolet rays, resulting in super hydrophilic properties.
Photocatalytic reaction: It is an oxidation reaction caused by the irradiation of ultraviolet rays using a photocatalyst represented by titanium dioxide. It produces strong oxidizing substances (hydroxyl radical OH¯, oxygen) under light to decompose organic compounds, bacteria, and viruses.
