The tempering process for channel glass up to 20' long utilizes specialized custom tempering ovens designed exclusively for three-dimensional channel glass. This advanced machinery ensures dimensionally consistent glass across all production batches.
Tempered U channel glass is annealed channel glass that undergoes a secondary heat treatment. This process strengthens the glass and raises the compression to 10,000 psi or greater. This makes it three to five times stronger than standard annealed glass.
Our color painted coated glass is heated at 650 degrees Celsius onto the inside face of the channel, providing a colorfast, durable, and scratch-resistant finish. Colors can be customized according to your RAL or Pantone specifications.
Available in: Normal Clear, Tinted Blue, Tinted Green, Low Iron, and Ultra Clear. Specially customized sizes and patterns are available to meet unique architectural requirements.
