Product Description

Extra Ultra Clear Laminated Tempered Glass / Curved Bent Laminating Toughened Low Iron Glass

Tempered Glass is made by heating flat glass to just below its softening temperature (650 °c) and suddenly chilling it with jets of cold air. It results in the outer skins under powerful compressive stress and the interior with severe tensile stress. This ensures that the impact applied to the glass will be overcome by the compressive stress on the surfaces to assure safety. It is ideal for areas with high wind loads and human contact considerations.

Curved Tempered Glass is processed via a specific mold and equipment, rapidly and uniformly cooled by cold air. It features four times the bending and impact resistance of ordinary glass. When broken, it splits into small, uniform particles without sharp edges, minimizing injury risks.

Bent Laminating Glass

KEY FEATURES:

  • 5 times harder than ordinary float glass with superior thermal breakage resistance.
  • Disintegrates into small harmless cubical fragments upon breakage.
  • Withstands abrupt temperature changes up to 220 Centigrade.
  • Custom sizes produced per request (cannot be cut after tempering).

TECHNICAL STANDARDS:

Products comply with China GB15763.2; Europe EN12150-1; USA ASTM C1048; and Australia AS/NZS2208.

Toughened Laminated Glass

This refers to safe treatment after tempering, bonding two pieces of glass together. If broken, fragments stay bonded to the interlayer, preventing splashing and injuries.

PVB Laminated Glass
SGP Glass

PVB & SGP Interlayers:

PVB Interlayer: Subjected to heat and pressure to ensure complete adhesion. The most popular color is clear, providing high safety and UV screening.

SGP Glass (SentryGlas®Plus): A structural composite glass product. After high-temperature processing, the film and glass bond permanently for superior structural strength.

LAMINATED FEATURES:

  • Extreme Safety: Fragments stick to the film; impactors will not easily penetrate.
  • Energy-saving: Effectively reduces solar light transmittance.
  • Aesthetic Appeal: Tinted interlayers harmonize with architectural designs.
  • Sound Control: PVB acts as a sound absorber, ideal for areas near airports or roads.
  • UV Screening: Filters ultraviolet rays to prevent interior fading.
