🔹 Product Description
U-profile glass is one kind of casting glasses. Its progress of forming in the computer-control smelting furnace enables it to keep excellent quality and precision. Its high mechanical strength enables it to be fixed on high-rise buildings and other buildings which need good lighting. This can save the buildings from extra vertical and horizontal underpinning. U-profile glass is featured by its good lighting, heat insulation and preservation, sound insulation and noise protection—it's one of the new type environment-friendly and economical glasses.

🛡️ Tempering Process
The tempering process for channel glass handles lengths up to 20' using custom ovens exclusively for three-dimensional channel glass. Tempered channel glass is annealed glass that has undergone a second heat treatment to raise compression to 10,000 psi or greater. It is three to four times stronger than annealed glass and is recognized by its "dicing" break pattern—small, harmless fragments that markedly reduce the likelihood of injury.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What are the primary benefits of U-profile glass? A1: U-profile glass offers excellent light transmission, high mechanical strength, thermal insulation, and sound protection, making it ideal for modern architectural designs.
Q2: Can U-channel glass be used for high-rise buildings? A2: Yes, its high mechanical strength allows it to be installed in high-rise structures, often reducing the need for additional vertical and horizontal supports.
Q3: What types of surface textures are available? A3: Common textures include Pear-grain, Ice, Piccolo, and Sandblasted finishes. Custom patterns and colors (RAL/Pantone) are also available.
Q4: Is the U-profile glass safe if it breaks? A4: When tempered, the glass becomes 3-4 times stronger than annealed glass and breaks into small, dull fragments (dicing) to prevent injury.
Q5: What is the maximum length available for tempered U-glass? A5: We utilize specialized tempering ovens that can process channel glass up to 20 feet in length.
Q6: Does U-profile glass support energy efficiency? A6: Yes, it provides effective heat insulation and preservation, contributing to more environment-friendly and economical building operations.
