U-profile glass is one kind of casting glasses. Its progress of forming in the computer-control smelting furnace enables it to keep excellent quality and precision. U-profile glass is featured by its good lighting, heat insulation and preservation, sound insulation and noise protection—it's one of the new type environment-friendly and economical glasses.

1) Pear-grain: A hammered pearl or orange peel texture provides moderate translucency; features excellent light scattering properties.

2) Ice: An organic, heavily obscuring texture. Excellent for single glazed applications creating privacy or hiding views.

3) Piccolo: Available in thin lines or thick lines.

4) Ultra Clear (Low Iron): Special production made with raw materials containing low iron. The glass is almost colorless, displaying a slight greenish cast.

5) Tinted Blue: Available for aesthetic variety.

The tempering process for channel glass handles lengths up to 20' using custom ovens exclusively for three-dimensional channel glass. Tempered channel glass is annealed glass that has undergone a second heat treatment to raise compression to 10,000 psi or greater. It is three to four times stronger than annealed glass and is recognized by its "dicing" break pattern—small, harmless fragments that markedly reduce the likelihood of injury.
